MPEG Scan supports a wide range of file formats and Audio/Video codec. In addition, it lets you define and perform both objective and subjective testing, including TR 101 290 priority 1 and 2, multiplex and rate analyses, audio-level testing, template checking, and video freeze/black frame detection. MPEG Scan performs configurable actions based on its test outcomes. You can configure it, for example, to send an e-mail message, move a file, or create a report. In this way, the software enables a complete and automatic quality-control workflow. It avoids the cost and partial coverage of visually inspecting video content.
